Are you thinking of having your stag party abroad? If you are then why not spare a thought for the East of Europe. With a list of pro’s ranging from cheap beer (a £1.00 a pint, sound good to you?), gorgeous blondes (it’s not just a myth) and activities you would find difficult to experience back in the UK (UZI training, mud wrestling), you can see why you just might want to hop on to a plane to one of either, Estonia, Czech Republic, Slovakia or Hungary.

What Activities can you do?

Prague, Czech Republic – Weapons Training, Totty Bar Crawls, Bobsleighing.

Bratislava, Slovakia – Mud Wrestling, White Water Rafting, Karting and Paintball are just a few of the activities you could try in Bratislava.

Tallinn, Estonia – Weapons training (thats UZI’s, AK47’s), girl on girl strip show’s are the tip of the iceberg. Tallinn really does have a wide selection of activities to take part in.

Budapest, Hungary – To cut to the chase, you can enjoy a nice leisure cruise down the Danube. Sounds good? how about with a boat load of strippers to add abit more excitment! As well as this you might like to take part in a spot of Airsoft, Pot holing or bobsailing.

So you been chosen as a suitable best man, congratulations! The fun starts here. The following is a guide to being the perfect best man, a best man checklist.

The Stag Party

  2. What will you do on your stag party? click here totake a look at our range of activities, we have both day time activities such as paintball, Karting and Quad Biking along with the traditional night time activities of strippers, night clubs and bar crawls!

The Night Before the Wedding Day

Often overlooked, you have the responsibility of making sure your groom is fresh, hangover free and ready for the big day to follow. Here’s what you should do:

  1. Get an early night!
  2. Avoid the vindaloo’s, spicy food or anything which may upset the groom’s stomach for the next day. Wedding’s and wind do not make a marriage made in heaven.
  3. The same goes for garlic, the bride-to-be wount be happy being kissed by a garlic smelling fiend.
  4. No means no, don’t give into the grooms last minute temptation’s.

The Morning of the Wedding Day?

This is the crucial moment for you to stand up and take your best man glory. You have to get your groom to the church / registry office on time and looking his best (the stag party pranks are long gone, this is the serious bit, the pressure is on!).

So your about to leave for the church / registry office (with plenty of time to spare), what do you have to do?

  1. Double check you have the wedding rings and that they are in a safe place.
  2. Make sure the groom goes to the toilet and empties the little sailor.
  3. Check the groom’s fly is up.
  4. Give the groom’s appearance a once over, pay special attention to the ears (shaving cream), nose (trimmed and clear?) and the teeth (no bits of toast, etc)
  5. If the groom has written vows, make sure that he has them.
  6. Put on your polished shoe’s and check the groom’s laces, we don’t want to see the groom trip up on his way down the aisle.
  7. Give the groom a prep talk, put his nerves to rest.
  8. Check you have the wedding rings once more.
  9. Make sure the oven’s off, the baths not running, then proceed to lock the door.
  10. Get to the church on time!

The Wedding Ceremony

Well done, you’ve made it this far! you can now take it easy and engage in a little eye flirting with the bridesmaids (and if the wife / girlfriend spots you, let her know that as the best man it’s part of your duty). Just remember to be alert when the point comes and you are asked to present the wedding rings.

The Wedding Party

For those of you with an outgoing character, this is the point you’ve been waiting for, for the rest of us it’s the point we all dread! The Best Man’s Speech, for hints and tips on how to writing your best man speech click here.

…You’ve finished your speech, your job is pretty much complete. If you’ve followed all of the previous steps then we are sure you’ve been an outstanding best man. Now head to the bar and enjoy yourself! oh, and keep and eye on the groom, remember nobody wants to see a drunk groom!

Stag Party Movies

Very Bad Things – Movie Trailor

Very Bad Things, staring Christian Slater & Jeremy Pivens (Ari from entourage), is the perfect example of what not to do on a stag party. Don’t kill the stripper, don’t bury her in the desert and definately don’t get the bride mad. Check out the trailor below:

Bachelor Party

The original Stag Party Movie staring Tom Hanks.

The Hangover

The Hangover is one of the most recent Stag Party movies to hit the screen, one of the classic scenes being Mike Tyson air drumming to Phil Collins.
